ABSTRACT
The article features Sombat Boonngamanong, founder of nongovernmental organization (NGO) Mirror Foundation in Thailand. Unlike most toilers in the NGO, Boonngamanong does not seem to fret about fundraising. He typifies the new brand of activists known as social entrepreneurs because of their outside-the-box way of thinking. He used the Internet to gather donations of books and clothing to go up into the hills and to market handicrafts coming down into the cities.
