ABSTRACT
The article presents news briefs concerning the electronic industry. NXP Semiconductors is to close its manufacturing facility in Boeblingen, Germany by the end of 2007. IC Microsystems is behind a new Centre for Microelectronics to be set up in Cambridge. MTI Micro Fuel Cells said that Samsung has accepted its prototype fuel cells, and will start taking shipments in Q2 2007.
