ABSTRACT
The article provides information on an export sale of calves at Taunton market in England in March 2007. With 33 calves forward, auctioneer Robert Venner had expected to average £60 a head, so he was thrilled when trade averaged £72. Calf availability is tight at the moment, said Venner, but he hopes to see numbers increase in the coming months.
