ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the National Chemical Laboratory National Science Day held on February 28, 2007. The celebration involved National Chemical Laboratory research students displaying their work through posters on areas including biochemical sciences, catalysis and chemical engineering science. Professor D. Balasubramanian, Research Director of the L. V. Prasad Eye Institute, gave a lecture entitled "Translational Biology in India: from Smallpox to Stem Cells."
