The article reports on the marketing strategies implemented by Tourism Northern Territory (NT) to increase the number of visitors to Australia during the lean tourism seasons. A Tropical Summer campaign launched in December 2006 was designed to increase interest in travelers to visit Darwin. Destination campaigns, which are part of Share Our Story campaign, will continue to be offered in 2007 to raise awareness of priority destinations in the NT such as Kakadu, Darwin and Arnhem Land.
