ABSTRACT
This article reports that Serco has won a five-year, £26 million information technology (IT) modernization deal with the London Borough of Southwark in England. The company will donate a part of its contract amount to an IT accreditation and training academy for unprivileged young people in Southwark. Under the terms of the deal, Serco will be responsible for managing the entire IT infrastructure of the council remotely.
