The article reports on the construction a pilot polyolefin plant by Repsol at its chemicals complex in Tarragona, Spain. The company says the facility is unique because of its versatility and the fact that it can produce both polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP). The new plant will enable Repsol to conduct research into a wide range of aspects relating to PE and PP. The facility will also bring greater efficiency both in costs and technology.
