ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of Mitsubishi Chemical to feed into the Japanese automotive industry. The company will set up a business promotion center to support all its subsidiaries involved in car-related sectors. The sector has been moving towards balancing safety aspects and environmental concerns in vehicles that will require different chemical products. Mitsubishi would position itself to supply specialist and functional resins, and battery materials based on more advanced technologies.
