ABSTRACT
The article reports on the savings generated by the Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford after centralizing clinical research services. According to Lisa Benson, manager of research administration and finance for the medical center, the centralization has resulted to better research budgets. The article reveals the center has also helped physicians without research experience get involved in studies they might otherwise not have attempted.
