ABSTRACT
The article reports that Barcelona, Spain-based company Fractus claims to have invented the smallest antenna for the ISM 2.4GHz band. The 3.7x2mm Micro Reach Xtend uses the firm's fractal technology and was developed especially for Bluetooth headsets and mobile handsets. The firm designs and makes aerials for Bluetooth, wireless LANs and ultra-wideband antennas.
