ABSTRACT
The article offers information on carbon offsetting process. It states that the concept of the process is that if a person is responsible for producing a large amount of carbon, for example by flying, he or she can pay a company to compensate the effect by planting trees or something similar. A web site by a group called Climate Care has a calculator to compute how much it would cost to off-set the carbon produced by a heavy truck.
