ABSTRACT
The article reports on the energy strategy introduced by the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) called "Energy Security for American Competitiveness" in the U.S. The new initiative is designed to diversify the national energy portfolio and to address its future energy needs. Some of the proposals embodied in the program include goals for energy efficiency, energy intelligence of the American public and increases in the nation's electricity generation.
