ABSTRACT
The article reports on the asset acquisition of steel service center Olympic Metals Inc. by Cargill Inc. in Loudon, Tennessee. According to Cargill's Steel Service Center president Mike Taylor, the acquired facility will enable Cargill to expand its market area in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern states. Cargill operates six flat-rolled steel service centers offering hot-rolled band, pickled and oiled, cold-rolled and tin mill products.
