The research conducted by Forrester Research Inc. showed that nearly one-third of the information technology budget is being spent on enterprise hardware and maintenance, including servers. The Butler Group LLC research says that poor technology processes and the cost of maintaining legacy infrastructures can hinder benefits being realised.
