ABSTRACT
The article features the communications and networking protocol CC-Link. CC-Link is a Fieldbus network that processes both cyclic input/output (I-O) data and acyclic parameter data at high speed. It manages high-speed communications between controllers and I/O sensors and actuators. Developed by Mitsubishi and managed by the CC-Link Partner Association, CC-Link is a popular network in Asia. This open field network received International Organization for Standardization (ISO) approval in the voting for ISO-15747-5.
