This article profiles Nasreen Madhany, senior partner-media director for the IBM Worldwide account and one of Business Marketing's Best & Brightest Media Strategists for 1999. She worked at Ogilvy & Mather's Toronto, Ontario office since 1975 before moving to New York to work on the IBM account. She is responsible for implementing e-business solutions campaign of IBM. Madhany sees her job as ensuring that IBM maintains its leadership role. She says the philosophy behind the company's massive spending is to reach a leadership position in each medium.
