The article reports on the conflagration caused by a malfunctioned electrical appliance that burnt down a condominium on December 11, 2006 in the Old Town area of San Diego, California. The blaze destroyed the structure and displaced residents in the area. It took firefighters 15 minutes to put the fire under control. The damage was pegged at $600,000 worth of properties.
