Post Office alters pay system

The article reports on the slow progress of the performance-related pay (PRP) scheme at the British Post Office due to labor union resistance. The Post Office is in discussion with the trade unions and are hopeful that they will soon introduce something that is more performance-related according to organizational development director Ian Anderson. He adds that the Post Office will continue to adopt a conciliatory position on the issue.
