ABSTRACT
The article presents the views of human resources (HR) executives on the issue of sick note system in Great Britain. According to Erin Common, HR manager of JJ Group, sick notes provide employers with little information of the benefit for the employee on return to work. Susan Stevens, HR director of Toshiba, states that the forms should include detailed information on the patient's condition and restrictions on work.
