ABSTRACT
The article talks about trout fishing in New York. April 1 is the beginning of trout fishing season in New York. Four species of trout are found in New York State waters: brook trout, brown trout, rainbow trout and lake trout. Two major fishing organizations whose Web sites are excellent sources of fly-fishing information are Trout Unlimited at www.tu.org and the Federation of Fly Fishers at www.fedflyfishers.org. It is inferred that trout fishing regulations vary widely across the state.
