ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's experience of working with mules. He has been packing mules since he was 19, and he has become half crippled due to the heavy loads he had to lift and pack to the mules. He is deeply attached with mules and regards them as his co-workers, not friends. He had to undergo a surgery to walk normally, and the doctors asked him that he should never pack mules again. He cherishes his long association with the mules.
