ABSTRACT
The article discusses the author's experience of preparing for a gallbladder surgery. This would be her first time facing an operation on her own. With all the worries, she decided she had to get her mind off of everything. The author decided to get something to read and to her surprise the book's prologue began with a woman awaiting surgery. She realized that her life was not only in the doctor's hands, it was in God's as well.
