The article presents the author's forecasts on the innovative changes in the financial services industry that will result from the significant functions of information technology. He anticipates the commoditization of products and services and the progress of previously lagging economies. He likewise foresees the expansion of information sharing and retrieval through the extended capabilities of semantic networks. Moreover, he expects the usefulness of a software program in decision making.
