ABSTRACT
In this article the author examines the retransmission fees that cable networks pay to broadcasters. He compares a dispute over retransmission at his television network to a similar situation that took place in Spokane, Washington. He states his belief that cable networks should pay broadcasters for the right to transmit their content.
