ABSTRACT
The article reports on the reaction of fast-food operators to a report by consumer group Which? that accused them of using marketing tactics to promote foods high in fat, sugar and salt to children. The report also attacked devices being used by 12 fast-food companies, including McDonald's, Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) and Burger King. It highlights a range of marketing strategies, including viral advertising, television sponsorship, competitions and toy promotions.
