ABSTRACT
The article presents the content of an unusual manuscript that the author found in the attic. The manuscript discussed how Eve was tempted by the devil in the Garden of Eden by convincing her that through exercising her freedom of choice she would become as wise as the enemy. The author of the manuscript related Eve's temptation to efforts to distract the U.S. society. The author also emphasized the importance of libraries and librarians to society.
