The article reports on the private placement of the Indian Railway Finance Co. The transaction was priced at the tightest spreads for an Indian private placement. The deal attracted four investors that have not previously invested in a deal from India. The deal was led by Barclays Capital, JPMorgan Securities and ABN Amro.
