The article reports on the bid made by the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) for the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT), maybe stepping on the toes of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME). The bid of ICE offers a 10.5 percent premium to CME's proposed price and a 13 percent premium to CBOT's closing price the day before the bid was announced.
