ABSTRACT
The article focuses on trends in international prices of commodity chemicals in March 2007. Olefin values in Asia have dipped to $1,075-1,095 per ton for end-March or early-April shipments, with customers retreating from the market and taking a wait-and-see stance amid bearish market sentiment. European benzene prices have been fluctuating over the course of the week. European styrene values have climbed on benzene, taking the range to $1,270-1,285 per ton.
