The article reports on the plan of Oleon to invest in a fatty acid plant in Ertvelde, Belgium following a fire at the site in January 2007. The fire has damaged part of the fatty acid plant's main distillation unit, which will be restored at the end of 2007. The company is taking advantage of the incident to close an older, undamaged distillation unit at the site and build the new facility. Oleon's other three operations at Ertvelde were not affected by the fire.
