The article reports on the impact of recycling on the plastic market in China. The huge rise in the use of recycled polymer in China has affected the country's virgin resin demand growth. 5.8m tonnes of all kinds of recycled or scrap polymers were imported into China in 2005. Polymer pricing will also eventually decline by 2008-2010.
