ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of Lubrizol to start construction of a $40 million plant in Songjiang, near Shanghai, China in the third quarter of 2007. The plant is set to produce resins, polymers and specialty additives that are used in coatings for paint, wood, plastic, metal and textiles. The new facility will be located on an acquired land adjacent to Lubrizol's Estane thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) plant.
