ABSTRACT
The article reports on the start of the electronic trading platform at Shanghai Petroleum Exchange in Shanghai, China with more than 6,000 tons of chemicals traded. Most of the transactions were for styrene monomer where volume reached 3,856 tons followed by diethylene glycol with 1,366 tons. Around 40 traders participated in the morning trading session.
