Michelin put in charge of US military tires

The article reports on a contract awarded by the U.S. Defense Supply Center-Columbus in Ohio (DSC-C) to Michelin Americas Truck Tires to provide ground tires for every type of wheeled vehicle for all military branches around the world. The company is already the majority supplier of U.S. Army tactical tires. The company will also work with Science Applications International Corp. to manage the wholesale supply, storage and distribution functions for all ground tires used by the U.S. military.
