ABSTRACT
The article reports that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has awarded a $57-million contract to Tompkins Builders Inc. for the construction of an addition to Langley Air Force Base Hospital in Hampton, Virginia. The scope of work will include construction of a new three-story building and renovations to the existing facility, as well as renovation of the central plant. Construction on the project has started in December 2006, and completion is expected by the end of 2008.
