Alaska Proposes Gasline Incentive

The article offers information on a public contract to be awarded by the U.S. government for the construction of a pipeline that will deliver natural gas from North Slope, Alaska to the contiguous 48 states in accordance to the Alaska Gasoline Inducement Act. The project will be awarded to a developer that could guarantee that the pipeline could be expanded to accommodate future gas finds. The developer would commit to budget reviews and construction timetables.
