ABSTRACT
This article states that device software optimization provider Wind River has acquired the intellectual property including patents, copyrights, trademarks and associated product rights for RTLinux, a hard real-time Linux technology developed by Finite State Machine Labs Inc. Wind River has long been an advocate of open source software development such as that touted by Linux operating system enthusiasts.
