ABSTRACT
The article reports on a definitive agreement reached by Cypress Semiconductor Corp. with Sensata Technologies Inc. for selling the former's SMaL Camera Technology Inc. subsidiary to the latter. SMaL Camera provides cameras and camera subsystems to automotive advanced driver assistance systems for customers, such as Bosch and Delphi. Cliff Drowley, vice president for the image sensor group of Cypress, stated that the move they made is part of the company's plan to focus resources onto its image sensor business.
