The article reports on the success of a test conducted by NaturalNano on its proprietary halloysite nanotubes, HNT, in polypropylene (PP) using standard equipment. NaturalNano has tested levels of HNT added to PP at proportions between 5% and 13%. The firm will now carry out further trials to increase this loading and test production-scale equipment. NaturalNano notes that the technology will provide stronger, lighter and less expensive materials.
