The article reports on the plan of Ticona, the engineering and polymers business of Celanese, to invest in new capacity in Asia. The company said that the investments will include world-scale monomer, polymer and compounding production for liquid crystal polymer and polyoxymethylene products. According to Ticona, the investments are not connected with the moving of the production site of the company in Kelsterbach, Germany.
