The article reports that NexCen Brands has acquired the Waverly brand of decorative fabrics and other home furnishing products from F. Schumacher & Co. It is reported that NexCen will hire design, marketing and licensing personnel to market the Waverly brand and expects to generate $9 million revenue in the first 12 months after the acquisition in April. That P/Kaufmann recently acquired the Waverly decorative fabric license is also mentioned.
