ABSTRACT
The article outlines a possible energy industry scenario for New Zealand according to the Energy Group of the non-profit organization Futures Thinking Aotearoa (FTA) or the New Zealand Futures Trust. The Energy Group expects government-initiated country-to-country oil agreements to become more important as the traditional oil company influence decreases. The Group adds that government transport focus will shift from roads to rail and coastal shipping.
