ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the livestock farm being managed by Alistair Mackintosh in Ravenglass, Cumbria in England. Mackintosh rents 259 hectares of land from the owners of Muncaster Eastle and owns a further 40 hectares. According to Mackintosh, with store cattle prices as buoyant as they have been and finished prices not keeping pace, he reluctantly sold bulls from the finishing shed, as stores.
