This article talks about Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. bringing low-cost health care to markets outside India, its home location. Cardiologist Prathap C. Reddy started India's first corporate hospital by using funds loaned from banks. According to the author, the hospital's low rates attract many patients. In Great Britain, Apollo has been selected to work in two regions doing magnetic resonance imaging systems and such. It is eyeing the Caribbean and Fiji islands for hospitals, looking to attract more medical tourists.
