The article discusses the possibility of the variable rate irrigation technology to the cotton farmers in the U.S. James Mahan of Agricultural Research Services tackles the work on variable rate irrigation during a panel discussion at the Beltwide Cotton conference. They explore variable rate technology against variable rate theory. The crop temperature and how they can save chemicals are also presented.
