ABSTRACT
The article examines the navies of several countries including Australia, Bangladesh, China, and India. It is stated that the Royal Australian Navy appears to be in good shape for dealing with the ongoing changes in the region. In Bangladesh, the government assumed operational control over one of the nation's largest private shipyards because of its financial difficulties. India is continuing with the construction of the 40,000-ton Vikrant-class air defense ship aircraft carrier.
