This article announces that Iowa Public Employees' Retirement System (IPERS) is searching for a new chief information officer (CIO). IPERS has a total asset of $22 billion. The position becomes vacant after the retirement of Kathy Comito, who worked with IPERS for 20 years before retirement on December 29, 2006. It explains that the CIO will be responsible for the administration and management of IPERS' investment portfolio and overall investment program.
