ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the business planning of Canada's largest furniture and home goods rent-to-own merchant Easyhome Ltd. The company is going to sign a master franchise agreement with former Rent-A-Center Inc. executive Walter "Bud" Gates to enter the U.S. market this year. The company is planning to open two or three corporate stores in states that border Canada in 2007. The first U.S. Easyhome store will open in New York state this year.
