ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decision of photonic integrated circuit (IC) technology provider Infinera Corp. to file an initial public offering (IPO) of 566 million shares with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Infinera said it intends to use the net proceeds from the IPO for working capital and other general corporate purposes, including acquisitions and new product development.
