A Pan-Arab initiative called the Arab Forum for Environment and Development (AFED) has been founded, to develop a common market for environmentally friendly technologies and products. Reichhold's plant in Azusa, California has been recognised for three separate safety achievements at the company's 2007 Safety Awards.
